Getting back into the work force when the girls became teenagers has done wonders for my self esteem. I am finding myself less concerned about who Daniel sleeps with, and more concerned about what I want out of our life together. I do want, and love him, but I think I need to decide if he returns the same to me, and if he is willing to accept me as an independent woman and an equal.
The days of my meekly doing as he says, and spreading my legs for him if I want to or not are over. Not that I don't like sex in general, and my amply endowed husband in particular, it is just that he is going to have to learn that I have needs and desires too. The girls, I am so glad we spent the money and enrolled them in that new upscale private school. Though Angela has been a bit moody of late, I really enjoyed helping her with her homework today, even though I had big news of my own.
Lilith, the change in Lilith is unbelievable. My shy little rebel shocked me when as I was helping Angela, I looked over and observed my husband doing the same for her. There also was some talk going down at party headquarters about putting me on the ballot for Mayor in the upcoming election.
After hearing my news, Daniel again surprised me, with a rose in celebration, If I wasn't turned on by seeing him help his second born, I definitely was now. Maybe he is learning that he needs to do more than simply relax on the bed to get me in the mood.

After making the bed, as I started to get dressed, I decided it was time to say good by to the frumpy, mousey little persona I had worn for so many years. After all If I was going to stand a chance in the Mayoral election, I would have to look the part. Though never a fan of the scalpel, I felt it was time for a little nip, to hide the years. That, coupled with a new wardrobe and "do" Left me feeling like a new, modern woman.
Reveling in my new look, I suddenly got a horrendous cramp, I guess I should not have had that sushi for lunch down at party headquarters. I though It had passed, and I started walking into the other room to show Daniel my new look, hoping he would be as pleased with it as I was, when all of the sudden a wave came over me and I had to rush for the washroom.
I couldn't leave the mess until the maid got here in the morning, so hoping I would not soil my new dress, I cleaned the toilet and then went in search of my husband. On the way, I got distracted by seeing my eldest daughter playing with the new telescope in the nude of all things. I am glad that she is comfortable in her maturing body, but this is just not something a proper young lady should be doing.
As I was walking out into the yard to scold her for this, a bright light came from the sky, and suddenly, My baby was gone. Daniel came running over, and hugged me as we both gazed skyward and wondered what would become of our poor little Angela.
